Ancaman Terhadap Biodiversitas Laut Dampak Perubahan Iklim dan Upaya Pelestarian

Perubahan iklim merupakan ancaman serius terhadap keberlanjutan biodiversitas laut. Lautan menyerap sebagian besar emisi karbon dioksida antropogenik yang menyebabkan peningkatan suhu permukaan laut, pengasaman laut, serta kenaikan muka air laut. Perubahan ini berdampak langsung pada ekosistem laut seperti terumbu karang, mangrove, dan padang lamun, serta mengancam keberlangsungan berbagai spesies laut. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji ancaman perubahan iklim terhadap biodiversitas laut serta membahas upaya pelestarian yang dapat dilakukan, khususnya di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dari sumber ilmiah yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan berbasis ekosistem dan penerapan kawasan konservasi laut menjadi langkah penting dalam menjaga keanekaragaman hayati laut di tengah tekanan perubahan iklim.
