This study aims to determine the effect of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model on students' physics learning outcomes regarding the topic of Quantities and Units at SMA Negeri 8 Medan. The study employed a quantitative method using a quasi-experimental approach with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of class X-3 as the experimental group and class X-4 as the control group, with 30 students in each class. Data were collected via pretests and posttests and subsequently analyzed using normality, homogeneity, and t-tests. The results showed that the average pretest scores were 48.83 for the experimental group and 48.67 for the control group; with tcalculated (0.040) < ttable (2.002), there was no significant difference in initial ability. The average posttest scores were 80.33 for the experimental group and 66.00 for the control group. The t-test results showed tcalculated (4.464) > ttable (1.671), leading to the rejection of H0 and the acceptance of Ha. Thus, the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model has a significant effect on students' physics learning outcomes regarding the topic of Quantities and Units.
