PENGARUH STUDENTS CENTERED LEARNING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tuntutan transformasi pembelajaran abad ke-21 yang menekankan pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis, kolaborasi, kreativitas, dan komunikasi melalui pendekatan yang berpusat pada siswa. Namun, praktik pembelajaran di sekolah menengah masih banyak didominasi pendekatan teacher-centered yang berpotensi membatasi keterlibatan dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Student-Centered Learning (SCL) terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMA. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-experimental one group pretest–posttest. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 30 siswa dari kelas X di SMA Negeri 5 Toraja Utara yang ditentukan melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes hasil belajar yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji paired sample t-test dan regresi linear sederhana pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata nilai dari 64,07 (pretest) menjadi 81,00 (posttest) dengan selisih 16,93 poin. Uji t menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan (p < 0,05). Analisis regresi menunjukkan hubungan yang sangat kuat (R=0,990) dengan kontribusi sebesar 97,9% terhadap variasi hasil belajar. Disimpulkan bahwa penerapan SCL berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa, sehingga direkomendasikan untuk diimplementasikan secara sistematis guna meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran.
