Papua Journal of Diplomacy and International Relations (PJDIR) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that aims to provide an international academic platform for scholarly discussions on issues concerning Melanesia and the Asia-Pacific region. Its scope includes, but is not limited to, topics such as Indonesia–Papua New Guinea border dynamics, the West Papuan conflict, the Melanesian Way, South Pacific affairs, the Indo-Pacific, regional conflicts, and other subjects related to diplomacy and international affairs.

PJDIR is published by the International Relations Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Cenderawasih University, in collaboration with the Indonesian Association for International Relations (MoU) & (AIHII). The journal, launched in 2021, is published twice a year in May and November. 

PJDIR has been accredited with a third grade of Science and Technology Index (SINTA 3) by the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemdikbudristek) since July 2023. Accreditation Number: 79/E/KPT/2023 is valid until the publication of PJDIR Vol. 5 No. 2, 2025. PJDIR has also been indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).
